Sammy F. Banawan, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist with training in DBT and CBT. He has been practicing DBT for the past 10 years. He received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Georgia. He completed his medical psychology internship and his post-doctoral training at the Duke University Medical Center and received his B.S. in psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill. He founded and practices full-time at Durham DBT.
